This is the most crucial part of a child’s life,at this point whatever adult says matters a lot to the child.this is a period between 18months to 2years,this is the most exciting time for the child.every words you say matters to them being verbal or non verbal expression is essential for the child.

Parents and teachers should be at alert
During your verbal expression you should be careful of what you say, how you say it and the expression that follow the conversation.this is very important as it is a developing stage in your child’s life , whatever you do at this period become a normal act to your child as he or she is growing.

At this stage they’re learning from people around them.
This the right time to instill the right way to communicate into your child, if you desire your child to speak well and behave well in future. This is the right time to create a good atmosphere for your child to develop in language do not underrate the fact that their childrens, you think you can talk anyhow.every word you speak count,have you ever wonder why the tent learning the bad words faster than the good words.

NOTE
• If your child must develop a good language skills,it is your duty to keep on interacting with your child on a daily basis so that the child will get familiar with each word and also practice the words in his or her quiet moment.

• At age 2 when your child has already started walking, you can help the child by asking them to go and bring certain objects.this can be done in the house, classroom or school by doing that you are helping the child to get familiar with words and actions.also he/ she is building vocabulary.

Stop Bully in our Schools and Homes.

What is bullying; it is an act of frightening or threatening a weaker person or saying hurtful jokes and spreading rumors about a person in a negative manner.

*How do we stop kids from being bullied and bullying others.

1; Instill good habits in our kids: teach kids not to threaten others,they should not be judgmental and should know the limit while making jokes with other kids.also they should avoid spreading bad rumors about their fellow kids.

2: Motivate your kids.provide them with tools for dealing with bullying.

• Waking away
  *Telling an adult
  *Use a firm voice to ask the bully to stop.
  *Report to a teacher, school authority, principal, headmaster/headmistress etc,If witness any incident report

3: Become familiar with your kids.parents need to be more open to their children so that their children can always confide in them, whenever they have issues.lets them know you’re there for them in case they’re being bullied,they need to speak.

4: Parents should be familiar with their kids school policies; it is important to know how bully incident is being handled at your child’s school.you have the right to take the matter further if no proper response from the school authority.

Procedure: if your kid is bully

• Contact the school
  *Report to the school authority
  *Ask for face to face meeting
  *Document the information in case the situation escalate.
  *Called for serious action.
