How To Prepare Lesson


A teacher should be able to prepare an effective lesson, your students attention span is low, it is the estimated to be 15_25minutes only, it is difficult to hold your students attention for too long.so careful preparation of work is very necessary


a. Rehearse your presentation in advance before the lesson
b. Obtain all materials, tools, equipment, visual and teaching aids in advance.
c. Have all materials within reach and conveniently arranged, ready to display.
d. Time the demostration,it should not exceed 15minutes.
e. Remove all extraneous materials.
f. Plan to use a skill or a method to advantage word from simple to complex, one step at a time.


 How to present your lesson


a. Make sure all students can see and hear the lesson
b. Be enthusiastic, professional, effective but not too dramatic
c. Relax, use any mishaps or humour to your advantage
d. Observe all safety rules and procedures.
e. Keep eye contact with the class, ask and encourage class questions.
f. Use a medial summary to strengthen your explanation.

REFLECTION POINT
There are two people involved, the giver and a receiver, you’re the giver and your students are the receivers, likewise a starting point and ending point, what will be your account at the end, how many fixed assets have you invest in, and how many is left and how many can you account for, What will be your reward at the end, will you be issue a sack Letter, or promotion letter? Or like that man in the scripture, the master went on a trip, he called the three servants and gave them each a talent to keep until he returns, the first he gave five talent and two to the second, the last he gave one, the two servants traded with their own but the last went and digged ground and buried his own,, when the master returns, he celebrated the other two servants and called the third servant slothful, peradventure your master calls you today, what account can you give to him would you be like the first servant or the third one? Use your tongue to count your teeth(I mean solve the equation by yourself), remember you will give an account!

• Wake up first and give yourself enough time to have a good morning, so this makes it easy for you to wake your kids up with a good attitude.
• Wake kids up with songs like The day is bright….

I’m awake, alive, alert…enthusiastic..
Singing and smiling, she will also smile from sleep with a lot of motivation and ready to Flow into the day..


• Greet your kids, like…my little angel or prince charming good morning with tickling and cuddling.
• Give your kids a realistic time to fully come back to life like 2 or 3 minutes, so that it doesn’t look like your breaking into his/ her sleep.


• Set the child up for the day, especially on a school days, this will help your kids to stay happy and energetic through out the day, ready to Flow with others.
On weekends allow them to sleep and wake up willingly.

Get to inspire others whether you do it intentionally or not, you inspire others just for being you. You inspire kids to do their best when you do your best, inspire your colleagues to work hard when you work hard, you inspire everyone around you to be happy, positive, creative, energetic when you are. Be the best version of you at all times, because you never know who you are inspiring.

Don’t take for granted
You get to teach, use your teaching experiences to spark your inner creativity.no matter what you do don’t take it for granted, I know many teachers who are struggling to seek for a full time teaching position due to a surplus teachers in a certain location around them.if you are giving the opportunity to teach enjoy it and give it your all.teach beyond the textbook. Teach the kids how to deal with their emotions and how to solve problem, teach how to be independent and organize in life, what matters to them and what their interest are, teach them good manners and how to be responsible for their actions, teach children how to apologize to others and learn from others mistake and actions.the greatest part is teaching all of this without knowing even realizing it.you teach all of this by simply being an amazing teacher who cares about what you do. Keep up with the great job.

Tips on how teachers can cope during challenging period.


Perseverance


For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name in that ye have ministered to the saints and do minister. And we desire that everyone of you do shew the same diligence to full assurance of hope unto the end. Hebrew 6;10,11


An effective teacher should be steadfast and diligence to the full, practice more of encouragement, use powerful words in and out of the classroom, motivates your students, acknowledge every little step they make towards success and celebrate them. Make every little effort a big deal and tell them your proud of them,kids feels better when they observe that their teachers are proud of them. They become proud of themselves, that show that there is an effective teacher on board. When an effective teacher instill confidence to the students despite the condition, that child can never feel less or worthless.

In this ministry for a minister to be rewarded, the minister must be steadfast, ready to tolerate, humbly and show love and care. without such characteristics, you are not complete, before taking up this ministry, they should be serious thought about who you are, asks yourself some questions.. like
I’m Patient, can I tolerate children, can I accept others? Answer the question, then you can now proceed.


My lesson on perseverance
When I remember my first year of teaching, I always remember one boy and a girl with severe behaviour challenges on a daily basis this boy will cried, no other teacher will be able to receive this boy from the gate,he hit everyone and roll on the floor as he is crying, he was the most challenging student I ‘ve ever had, but he was also the students, I learned the most from, as a first year teacher, I struggled to know how to support this boy while meeting the needs of the rest of my students’ try everything I could think of to help him succeed in my class, I tried sending him out of the classroom, not the solution, even when my attention is needed in the office, he will clab my dress or he ran out of the classroom with cried, other teachers will tried stopping him, I tried sending him to another teacher, having her act as a special helper, none of these approaches work, then I decided to invite God and I also work on our relationship, I decided to bring him more closer to me and show him unconditional love, I needed him to know that I would spend special time with him no matter what, I couldn’t leave him when he misbehaved and I wouldn’t give up on him, through prayers and building a relationship built on love and trust, I was able to slowly guide him towards positive behaviour, I had finally arrived at a workable strategy.

Successful teachers try and try again, we encourage students to persevere through challenges, knowing that struggle creates opportunities for growth, the Same applicable to teachers, every challenge you over come automatically becomes a stepping stone for you.

a. A teacher is accountable for; the students academic performance, social, emotional and spiritual life. A teacher is a problem solver, a teacher is a person that is responsible for researching for the purpose of delivering a fantastic lesson with high expectation and also believe that is going to make a difference in someone’s life, also there is a reward for every good work.

A teacher should be able to gather for each child. Your classroom is large, each of your students have different ways of responding to situations, you should be able to speak about each child in your classroom with full assurance.

b. Influence your students in a positive way; you should be able to talk to your students about things that are good and bad.the do and don’t . never shy away from your responsibilities. Your a blessing to them,a second parent so devote your heart and soul to build someone destiny at the end you will be rewarded.

c. The school records;your accountable for the school material like, register, lesson note, teachers scheme of work.etc.depending on the school rules.

d. Teachers test; answer the following questions. I. What is your students performance academically?

II. How are they doing emotionally?

III. What is their spiritually life like?


Iv. How can you describe their social life?

Remember if you are not able to provide answer to this questions, that means you are not an effective teacher, every train teacher should be able to measure every child performance in the classroom.

2.Consideration : to consider others is very important aspect of life, kids need know that no matter how many times someone offend them that they need to forgive the person
and give the person another chance.


3:Kindness: teach kids how to be kind to other people and learn to share even with a little, share stories of kindness with your kids to help others even if you get nothing back. Set out time to help others as a family.teach kids to use kind words at home and in school.try to speak in a kind way to your kids, discipline them with love.


4: Having value for lives: encourage your kids let them know that hurting other people feelings is not good.teach them to value who they’re and appreciate themselves, with such attitude they will be be to appreciate lives out there.teach your kids to know that taking other peoples life is a worst thing ever.

Get an egg tell your child how fragile eggs are.. and put it inside bowls 2. Let your child know that you want to cook the egg for him/ her and you do not have another egg in case the egg is broken.

Ask you child to bring the egg,then sit your child down tell your that is how human being life is when it’s break just like the egg it can’t be replaced.

The Role of A Teacher

Ø The primary role of a teacher is to help someone to learn.

A teacher is obligated to teach students to learn factual things about the their lives,their environment and the world,so your role is not just the academics,it beyond that. Teaching is more than transmission of facts, it is helping individuals to maximize their potential both personal and professional,lack of paying attention to your students emotion,social and spiritual development can hinder them from going beyond. They need complete package from you no reduction.

Don’t be surprised, this actually work better,get a little quality of beans in a tray, the quantity that will be enough for the period of time you will love to sit with your child to study.all you need to do is keep picking the beans.
